If you are scholar in a higher education institution or a research institute in France, the DAAD may fund your research project in a German higher education institution or public research institute or recognized by the German state.
Application deadline: September 15, 2014 for a stay from January 2015.
The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst - German Academic Exchange Service) aims to promote academic cooperation with foreign countries through, in particular, students' and scholars' exchanges. Its programs are open to all countries and disciplines.



In the framework of research visits' support, the grant duration is from 1 to 3 months depending on the candidate’s plan. Renewal may be requested after a period of three years.

The amount ranges from € 2,000 to 2,150 per month depending on the academic status. Travel expenses are not supported.

The application form (in German, French and English) can be downloaded from the website of the DAAD Paris, representative in France of German higher education institutions.
