European Research Council (ERC) Grants

The ERC offers two funding schemes:
1) The "Starting Grants" for researchers of any nationality with 2-7 years of experience after their thesis and scientific track record showing great promise.
Funding per grant: up to € 1.5 million.
Application deadline: October 18, 2016.
2) The "Consolidator Grants" for researchers of any nationality with over 7 and up to 12 years of experience since completion of PhD.
Funding per grant: up to € 2 million.
Application deadline: February 9, 2017.
In both cases, research must be conducted in a public or private research organisation located in one of the EU Member State or Associated Countries.
