Postgraduate scholarships in Ireland

Irish Ircset proposes 120 scholarships and invites application for funding from intending postgraduate researchers. The scheme is open to candidates worldwide.

The Irish Council for Science, Engineering and Technology (IRCSET) launches the first ot its two 2007 calls under the Government of Ireland's Embark Postgraduate Research Scholarship Scheme.

The first call in this 2007 programme will make 120 individual scholarships available to Master or Doctorate level researchers from all countries in the sciences, engineering and technology. A number of additional scholarships will be co funded by industrial partners under the Ircset Enterprise Partnership Scheme.

The financial support amounts to €24,003 for all kind of scholarships. However, researchers who will be co funded by a company will also receive additional supervision and gain experience of research in an industrial environment.

Application must be sent before February 14, 2006 5:00 pm, through the online application system.
