The French National Agency for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education
(AERES), created in 2006 and set up in March 2007, evaluates all higher education and research organizations and gives very interesting information on the components, curricula, research, the environment, international relations and governance.
72 doctoral schools have been evaluated to date. All the reports, which give the strong points, weak points and recommendations, are available on the Internet.
