Franco-Norwegian PHC Aurora 2017 is launched

Ludovic Fery

As part of cooperations between the Norwegian research council and the French ministry of External affairs, Aurora program (Hubert Curien Program) is renewed in 2017. Applications must be registered online on 7 September 2016 at the latest.
Promote scientific and technological exchanges is the main goal of the Hubert Curien Program (PHC) Aurora, initiated by both countries in 1988.

In 2016, 12 joint research projects have been funded thanks to this PHC.

For the 2017 edition of Aurora, the focus will be on new scientific cooperations and more particularly those involving young scientists, PhDs or post-doctoral students. Note that the European context of these projects, especially the Horizon 2020 program, is considered as an asset. The funding provided by France only covers living expenses (140 euros per day) and travel expenses (600 euros max per roundtrip France-Norway) for French researchers.

The records must be registered on Campus France website before 7 September 2016 at the latest. The results will be known in December 2016.
