National competition of high tech companies creation

2008 edition has been launched! Deadline for application: January 31, 2008.

This is the 10th edition of this competition organized by the French Ministry of higher education and research with the contribution of OSEO and the National Research Agency (ANR). Its purpose is to detect and reward best projects of company creation based upon innovative technologies.

40% of award winners are PhD holders
Since its beginnings in 1999, more than 900 innovative businesses have been created, 83% of which are still alive. In 2007, as a new proof (if still needed) of the dynamism, creativity and professionalism of businessmen trained through research, 40% of award winning project leaders were PhD holders.

Rewards amount can reach €45,000 for 'emerging' projects and €450,000 for more advanced projects of the 'creation-development' category. The Association Bernard Gregory (ABG) also brings its contribution by offering 3 years free memberships to 'creation-development' award winners.
