Tournesol is the Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC) set up by Wallonie-Bruxelles International, in partnership with the F.R.S.-F.N.R.S. and for France, by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in liaison with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

PRESENTATION OF THE PROGRAM

Tournesol 2023 develops scientific and technological cooperation between higher education and research establishments and public institutions in the Wallonia-Brussels region and France, by encouraging new cooperation and the participation of young researchers and PhD candidates.

The call for applications is open to tenured researchers in research laboratories attached to higher education institutions or research organizations.

The projects take place over two years. Each dossier will be submitted to an expert in science. Below are their assessment criteria, in addition to co-deposit:

The call for proposals is open to all scientific fields, including the humanities and social sciences.

Particular attention will be paid to projects related to the Horizon Europe framework programs for research and innovation.

The final deadline for application is March 28, 2022.

SCHEDULE AND CONTACT

Projects will begin as of January 1, 2023. Projects that have not committed any funds by November 15 will be denied funding for a second year.
