ABOUT the program

FASIC (France-Australia Science Innovation Collaboration) is a Hubert Curien partnership (PHC) aiming at strengthening Franco-Australian relationships in science and technology fields, and encouraging innovative joint actions that meet both countries' priorities.

It is run in France by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) in France, and by research partners in Australia.

The Call for proposals is open to all scientific fields, but a specific attention will be given to projects in the following areas:

It is intended for French researchers working in research laboratories attached to universities, research organizations or research & development companies.

Types of projects

  1. FASIC Researcher supports France-based researchers’ mobility (French overseas territories included) from France to Australia.
  2. FASIC PhD supports PhD’s mobility within the framework of a collaboration between France and Australia (candidates from New-Caledonia, French Polynesia and La Reunion are eligible).
  3. FASIC Workshop supports the organisation of scientific bilateral workshops to be held in Australia, or France, French overseas territories included, or online.
