The Shaker is the answer to the needs of students, PhDs candidates and holders, as well as young engineers who have developed an innovative concept in the field of biotechnology. Apply before July 18, 2025!
The Shaker is an extensive program to support young innovators in:
generation of initial data to obtaining your proof of concept;
building business plan and understand the market;
creating startup.
In order to do this, The Shaker gives access to:
Lab Biotech, a shared research laboratory located in the Genopole incubator (Essonne – Ile de France, France), equipped with consumables, reagents and chemical products;
the Genopole ecosystem (2,500 employees, 19 academic laboratories, more than 77 companies) with the support of a mentor and a team of business managers from Genopole Entreprises;
access to the cluster's technology platforms: mass spectrometry, electron microscope, synthetic biology workshop, cytometry imaging, histology-ACP, etc;
an entrepreneurship awareness program that is very useful for young graduates who are often not familiar with the business world: group sessions + individual meetings.
