The Hubert Curien Partnership (HCP) Tonlé Sap opens new prospects for scientific cooperation between France and Cambodia. This mobility and academic exchange scheme is part of a dynamic effort to strengthen scientific ties between both countries. An annual opportunity not to be missed. Application deadline: 29/12/2025
Calls for applications are launched annually, offering French and Cambodian research teams the opportunity to build sustainable collaborations and enrich their projects through high-quality international exchanges. The HCP Tonlé Sap aims to stimulate scientific and technological excellence by encouraging exchanges between French and Cambodian laboratories. This programme prioritises the emergence of new collaborations and places particular emphasis on the involvement of young researchers and doctoral candidates.
All scientific disciplines are eligible. However, three thematic areas are of shared priority interest for both countries:
Mandatory requirement: applications must be co-submitted simultaneously by French and Cambodian partners to their respective national authorities. The interim report and financial statement must be sent before 30 November of the first year to the French Embassy (see programme contact details below).
The maximum amount for a project is €10,000 per year: €5,000 from France and €5,000 from Cambodia.
