Raman Charpak: The Franco-Indian program to support researcher's mobility

The Science & Technology Department of the French Embassy in India, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, fund research stays for French and Indian PhD students over a period from 2 to 6 months in an Indian laboratory. Application deadline: May 31, 2016.

Implemented by the CEFIPRA (Centre Franco-Indien pour la Promotion de la Recherche Avancée) or IFCPAR (Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research), this fellowship program was launched during the State visit of the President of France, Mr. Francois Hollande, to India in February 2013. The aim is to facilitate the exchange of PhD students between the two countries, in order to broaden the scope and depth of future engagements in science, technology and innovation.
