Our lab research (www.lam-uliege.com; www.cirm.uliege.be) centers around the development of new analytical tools for (bio)pharmaceutical quality controls, disease biomarkers discovery and interactomics. This work is mostly funded by a ULiege grant (ARC) and the National Found for Scientific Research (FNRS).

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead cutting-edge research projects in a GMP environment while obtaining valuable experience with the relevant technologies (among which different modes of UHPLC, FFF, IM and CE coupled with DAD, MALS, LIF or MS/MS detectors, as well as micropillar arrays and MCE) that prepares well for future positions in academia or industry. We will also provide individual career development/support and access to an interdisciplinary and collaborative research community. 

Poste et missions

A postdoctoral fellow position is available at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Medicines, Laboratory for the Analysis of Medicines, directed by Prof. Marianne Fillet at the University of Liège. We are looking for a qualified and creative scientist with interest in the development of innovative and robust analytical/biophysical methods to characterize and assess homomeric protein-protein interactions (PPIs) and to identify new hit compounds (peptides and/or irreversible inhibitors) able to target these PPIs in the context of cancer therapy. He/she will join a multidisciplinary group working in the cutting-edge area of exploring the targeting of self-assembling proteins in drug design. 

Mobilité géographique :



The successful applicant must have a PhD degree with interest and / or experience in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis and molecular biology. Knowledge in advanced intact protein analysis by mass spectrometry is essential. Candidates with expertise in ion mobility, protein-protein interactions and/or drug screening are highly encouraged to apply. The candidate must be enthusiastic about research related to analytical/biophysical tool development for drug discovery, have excellent critical thinking skills, a track-record of productivity e.g. peer-reviewed publications, ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in written and oral English communication.
