Their mission: To develop microfluidic instruments that go beyond the state of the art, to enable researchers to go beyond the state of the art in their field, particularly in biotech.

Their company: Elvesys is an innovative company of 50 people created by three young PhDs in microfluidics. Their goal is to become the flagship of microfluidics in the world so that all research teams around the world benefit from the potential of microfluidics

Sustained by EIC funding, Elvesys just started the developement of a new innovative microfluidic instrument : the GALILEO project.
Your will be in charge to write scientific review, doing application note and contact researchers in order to :

Promote GALILEO technology

Find beta testeur for GALILEO

Refine the specification sheet of the GALILEO prototype

You will work closely with the marketing team , the GALILEO R&D team and the deputy CEO of ELVEFLOW.

Your mission will be :

To distill novel and cutting-edge scientific information into compelling, accurate english language and formats.

Contact researchers to do market study in order to understand their needs to refine specification sheet of the prototype and start collaboation through beta testing.

A typical day could consist of writing an application note on a scientific discovery or result, contact researchers to understand how they may use GALILEO technology for their experiments and discuss with the R&D team to identify how we may adapt the prototype for each applications.

Your skills

Solid scientific background ( ideally in the field of microfluidic or scientific instrumentation )

Ability to read and summarize high-level scientific writing (publications, reviews).

Strong capability to synthesize in a clear manner scientific outputs.

Excellent writing skills in English; must provide writing samples.

Self-driven and strong team player with excellent personal communication skills, who can work with multicultural teams

Your education

Master and Phd into engineering sciences ( exact field do not matter so much, can be mechanics, electronics, microfluidics ... )
