Tridek-One Therapeutics is an emerging biotechnology company focused on developing first-in-class monoclonal antibodies to treat diverse autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Unlike current therapies targeting the immune system, Tridek-One Therapeutics is targeting immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM)-containing receptors with agonistic monoclonal antibodies. The Company is well funded by a syndicate of biotech healthcare investors.

We are recruiting a Scientist. You will carry out experiments to study ITIM receptor-mediated immunomodulatory activity on immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM)-containing receptors in certain diseases, and to characterize drug candidates’ biological activity. You will operate with a constant concern for traceability and quality. Your objectives will be determined by the Scientist to whom you report.

Reporting to Group Leader, Principal Scientist. 

The position is based in Paris at Biolabs Broussais.

Responsibilities 

• Perform experiments (cell culture, bioassays, immunoassays) 
• Develop, optimize, and qualify assays for characterizing drug candidates
• Traceability of experiments and data analysis
• Ensure compliance with quality standards (GxP)
• Drafting of standard operating procedures
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
• Order laboratory supplies and manage inventory
• Identification of potential CROs, preparation of requests for proposal, and monitoring of CROs’ deliverables

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a typical indoor/office/laboratory environment
• Work environment involves exposure to typical research laboratory biological or chemical hazards, requiring adequate safety precautions

Qualifications and training  

• Expertise in fundamental and applied human platelet biology mandatory
• In-depth knowledge of mammalian cell culture and genetic modification techniques (transfection)
• Isolation of human primary immune cells (gradient centrifugation, flow cytometry sorting, magnetic cell separation and isolation)
• Immunoblotting, immunofluorescence, ELISA, and flow cytometry
• Expertise in ITIM/ITAM-containing receptors and agonistic monoclonal antibodies development is a plus
• Ideally 2 years in a biotech/pharmaceutical environment
• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, willing to work in a small team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, and FlowJo
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written)

Education

MSc in life sciences is mandatory, PhD in Immunology or equivalent is a plus
