LGRK is working in the field of innovative therapies involving stem cells and personalized radiotherapy.

5 to 15 % of cancer patients treated with radiation therapy develop severe complications. To further personalize radiation therapy, prognostic markers of such hypersensitivity are lacking. Our team is developing genomic and epigenomic studies on a cohort of such radiosensitive patients (1). The aim is to develop new markers of hypersensitivity based on whole exome and RNA-sequencing, and to demonstrate their functional role.

The candidate should hold a PhD or equivalent degree with experience in molecular and cell biology. It will be in charge of the demonstration that candidate genes, coding and non-coding (LncRNAs), which were found through an analysis of sequencing data, are directly related to cellular radiosensitivity.
