Profil

The candidate must hold a Ph-D in organic chemistry and particularly in the field of organic materials or semi-conducting organic molecules, with very good skills in organic synthesis. Knowledge of luminescence spectroscopy will be appreciated. An open mind and a taste for multidisciplinary work are also necessary.

Objectifs

The target of this project is to control energy and charge transfers within 2D hybrid Perovskites (HPERO2D), by modulating the chemical nature of organic chromophores. A library of organic chromophores will be developed to design new HPERO2D materials and to establish a large photophysical database of 2D Perovskites.

In terms of scientific aims, this photophysical database could be used to find and / or optimize new materials for applications broader than VLC, but such as photodetection, laser emission or photovoltaics applications.
