The Franch-Slovak program for scientific stays in France aims to facilitate the transfer of skills or access to specific equipment, in order to support cooperation between two counties in areas identified as priorities. The deadline for applications is November 20, 2022.
The French Embassy in Slovakia, the French Institute in Slovakia and the Slovak Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports offer a program for researchers working in Slovakia who do not hold French citizenship. Researchers who are French citizens may be offered part of the benefits below and are encouraged to contact the French Institute in Slovakia.

The call is open to researchers who do not hold French citizenship and are enrolled in a doctoral program or who have defended their doctorateno more that five years before the time of application, and who are working in Slovakia in institutions of higher education or in research organizations;
The jury will seek to achieve parity in the list of supported researchers;
Support for scientific stays (from one to three months) in France during the year 2023;
The applications will be submitted individually by young researchers, but demonstration of support by French and Slovak research teams will be an important criterion of selection;
The scientific fields concerned by this program:
- art, creation and associated industries ;
- health sciences ;
- agricultural and food technologies;
- technologies contributing to the reduction of energy consumption;
- responses to the environmental crisis.
Appllication in other fields are also eligible for support.
A grant ranging from 1704€ to 2055€ per month depending on the candidate's status, from the French Embassy in Slovakia and the French Institute of Slovakia;
Accommodation provided by Campus France;
Travel expenses will be covered by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic.
