Are you preparing, coordinating or contributing to a European doctoral or postdoctoral project? ABG can support your consortium as a partner, associated partner or expert contributor on a new or ongoing project.
Since 1980, ABG has supported researchers in developing their careers, with a particular focus on opportunities beyond academia. Since 2017, ABG has been labeled as a "Euraxess Career Development Center" by the European Commission and confimed its presence on international level. We participate in various types of European projects serving researchers, in which we deploy our expertise around doctoral training, career development, and mobility.
By collaborating with ABG, your project can benefit from:
recognised expertise in doctoral and postdoctoral career development;
strong visibility among PhD candidates, doctorate holders, research organisations and employers;
experience in MSCA COFUND, doctoral and postdoctoral programmes;
tailored training and career support for researchers and supervisors;
dissemination channels through ABG, EURAXESS and partner networks;
actions aligned with European priorities on research careers, mobility, skills and employability.
ABG can support your European project through a range of complementary actions, adapted to the objectives, target groups and work packages of your consortium.
Recruitment and visibility
ABG can help increase the visibility of your calls for applications and job opportunities through:
publication on the ABG website and multi-channel dissemination to partner platforms, notably Euraxess Jobs
dissemination through ABG newsletters;
relay to relevant partner networks;
targeted communication campaigns for doctoral and postdoctoral audiences.
Career development and employability (customized)
ABG designs and delivers training sessions for doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers in French and English on topics such as:
career planning;
skills identification and valorisation;
non-academic career opportunities;
networking and job search strategy;

Support for supervisors and research organisations
ABG can also support the professional environment around researchers by offering dedicated sessions for supervisors, project managers and host institutions.
These actions can help supervisors better understand career development issues, support researchers’ transitions and integrate employability into doctoral and postdoctoral programmes. More about our position on it here.
