Scientific and academic cooperation with Mexico

ECOS Nord: a Call to support joint research projects for a period of 4 years, between French and Mexican teams. Application deadline: May 16, 2014.

The ECOS Nord Committee (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of French National Education, Higher Education and Research issues its 21st call for bilateral research projects with Mexico.

This call concerns basic research in all disciplines in the framework of a collaboration on a joint scientific project and must include a training component at the doctoral level.

The priority areas are the following: climate change, protection of ecosystems and biodiversity, natural disasters, clean and renewable energy and sustainable consumption, technological development, health, food security, sustainable urban development, information and communication technology, social sciences, automotive, aerospace.

ECOS Nord support's nature:

Assignments for experienced and active researchers;

traineeships for PhD students;

travel cost to Mexico for French people.

The Mexican partner has to simultaneously submit his project and in the same terms to the ANUIES (Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior).
