100,000 euros award for the most promising young biotech

The Young Biotech Award, allocated by Genopole of Evry, is opened to applications.

To participate, the project or the company must have less than three years of existence and a biotech innovation in the environment, agri-food or industry sector (excluding health). The application deadline is 3 October 2016.

The Genopole Young Biotech Award contest, now in its sixth year, is opened to students, researchers and entrepreneurs. The jury will award the project or the company with the innovation combining the best mix between nice science and industrial potential. The winner will win a 100,000 euros award, including 30,000 in cash, as well as other services like accommodation and personalized business support.

The first selection round is opened until 3 October 2016 at 4 PM. Pre-selected projects will be pitched in front of a jury on the "Parcours de l’entrepreneur” day, scheduled in November at Genopole.

Of interest, 1 or 2 special prizes worth 50,000 euros (in services only) each will also be awarded, depending on the quality of received applications.
