M-ASTER : A training programme for young researchers

Goal : develop the skills and professional identity of the young researchers involved in the industrial research and technologie transfer within the Regional Network, the Universities and the Research Centers in the Emilia-Romagna region.M-ASTER is a training program financed by the Emilia-Romagna region and managed by ASTER.
It aims to develop transversal and additional skills and pursues the ambitious goal of creating the NEW INDUSTRIAL RESEARCHER, key-player of Innovation, belonging to a professional community and having a clear and recognized identity in the business world.
The training offer includes : M-Aster EVENTS, for young people involved in the industrial research in the Emilia-Romagna ; M-Aster LAB, mainly for the High-Tech network researchers ; M-Aster DOC, for PhD students with a technical-scientific background from regional universities.
This last module is an intensive module which is focused on knowledge of businesses and aiming to increase the awareness of the key-aspects of technological transfer.
75 students are selected after a call for applications during the month of May.
The module last for one week in the summer period (9-14 July 2007).
