Joseph Fourier grants from the French Institute in Taipei

Laurent Cousin

Taiwanese PhD students who wish to study in France are eligible for Joseph Fourier grants. Application deadline: January 31, 2009.

The Joseph Fourier Program sponsored by the French Institute in Taipei is offering grants to Taiwanese PhD students who wish to pursue their studies in France. All research fields are eligible, even the humanities.

These grants are awarded to students registered for a joint PhD, for which they do part of their research in France and another part in Taiwan.

The grant is for 600 euros per month for a period of up to 24 months, which can be punctuated by stays in Taiwan. It carries French government grant recipient status, which in particular covers university registration fees and student health coverage.

NB: applications should be sent to the French Institute in Taipei by January 31, 2009.

Joseph Fourier grants are also available for Masters students.
