ABIC

Established in 2003, ABIC - Associação dos Bolseiros de Investigação Científica is the Portuguese Association of Grant-holders Researchers and a member of Eurodoc, the European federation of national organisations of young researchers.

ABIC represents early stage researchers as PhD students, and post-doc fellows as well as other researchers who are also grant-holders.
Among its main actions, the Association urge the government to open positions available at the public sector and not use grant-holders researchers as cheap labour in Portugal.

One of the most active ABIC on-line resources is the "Forum dos Bolseiros"  (Grant-holders Forum) where you will find for example, a section especially dedicated to ads for jobs and scholarships. Furthermore, a guide for grant-holders is also at your disposal.
