French Association of Political Science
Fabrice Martin
Created in 1949, the French Association of Political Science aims at promoting French research in political science by encouraging exchanges between specialists of political issues.Among its numerous activities, the Afsp organize an annual congress and a Forum of Political Science PhDs which includes a round table on non academics career perspectives for PhDs in political science. The AFSP also runs a Political Science PhDs' Blog and gives PhD thesis prizes with financial support of the Mattei Dogan Foundation.
Asfp web site is an important source of information on the world of political science. It especially features a very useful directory of "politists".
