Institut Appert research prizes 2010

Institut Appert is launching two prizes in 2010: "The Institut Appert Nutrition Research Prize" and the "Special Jury Prize."

The first, worth 12,000 euros, rewards a research project on human nutrition or food hygiene conducted by a young researcher or future teacher. The second, worth 5,000 euros, is to promote applications of technical and nutrition research or food hygiene research in the field of appertization. Applicants should not be full-time employees of a hospital or university hospital while the project is being carried out.

Deadline for filing applications for the 2010 prizes is July 2, 2010.
