The drug company foundation issues a call for projects

The drug company foundation has issued a call for projects to improve patients’ quality of life and society’s care for them. Application deadline: June 25, 2010.

The foundation will support projects that aim to “improve the quality of life of people affected by chronic or rare diseases, diminish their vulnerability and inequalities in health care and help society better prepare to care for them at a collective level.”

The foundation will reward selected projects with:

    - Financial support in the form of co-financing for a maximum of 20,000 euros per year renewable for 2 years.
    - A 15,000-euro prize for the most innovative of these projects in the area of reducing vulnerability and health care inequalities.
    - A “special” prize of 10,000 euros rewarding the experimental pilot and innovative nature of a project.

Application deadline is June 25, 2010.
