BNF call to researchers

Two statuses are available to the eight researchers selected in the Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BNF)  2010-2011 call for applications:

- associate researchers: research projects will be supervised in parallel by a library mentor and a university research director. Publication opportunities will be offered to disseminate the results of the research undertaken.

- guest researchers: two researchers with guest status will be granted 10,000 euros for one year.

Also note that two other grants are funded by corporate sponsors (Louis Roederer and the L'Oréal Foundation) for an amount of 10,000 euros each as well as a third grant, the "BNF award," for 8,000 euros for one year.

The call to researchers involves research on BNF collections or the means to promote them, in conjunction with an academic research project. Candidates can also submit research proposals of their own initiative.
