Two post-doctoral positions are available starting from 1st of July in the ChemSyBio laboratory at Université Paris-Saclay, INRAE (Micalis Institute). We are seeking for highly motivated post-doctoral fellows with a proven experience in biochemistry or/and structural biology.
The successful candidates will join a dynamic and inter-disciplinary team headed by Dr Olivier Berteau & Dr Alhosna Benjdia, to investigate a novel superfamily of metallo-enzymes. These enzymes catalyze a wide range of chemically challenging reactions, some of which having no counterpart in synthetic chemistry and play a central role in major biosynthetic pathways including cofactor, vitamins and antibiotics biosynthesis. The proposed project aims at gaining a deeper understanding of the unique mechanisms of these emerging biocatalysts but also to develop unprecedented catalytic approaches.
