Position and assignments

PhysioStim is seeking a  Cardiovascular Physiologist to join its highly experienced team.

PhysioStim is a contract research company dedicated to cardiovascular pharmacology and electrophysiology. PhysioStim validates the cardiovascular efficacy and safety of future drugs and therapeutic targets. This expertise is supported by an experienced team in preclinical cardiovascular (CV) research and development, as well as a sustained research activity focused on developing new models and translational techniques to better validate tomorrow's targets.

We are seeking to reinforce our team and looking for a scientist/project manager to join our highly dedicated and competent team.

Your role

To support the company’s growth particularly the functional exploratory platform, we are looking for candidates with a scientific background in the field of cardiovascular physiology / pharmacology.

In this role, your tasks will be to:

  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and analysis skills for vascular and cardiac models.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the in-vivo/ex-vivo platform.
  • Work closely with the team members to support the development of new model.
  • Collect and analyze experimental data in compliance with internal quality requirements.
  • Document your work through written protocols.
  • Contribute to R&D and customers’ studies.

Professional requirements

Basic

  • Engineer or PhD with background in cardiovascular field
  • Ability to design and manage study
  • Hands-on-experience in assessing cardiac vascular assessment.
  • Confortable with technical development.

Preferred skills

  • Familiarity with the use of rodent animal models for disease studies.

Personal skills

As a person you are:

  • Able to take on responsibility and initiative within your area of expertise.
  • Able to communicate efficiently with senior management, cross-functional team members and technical team.
  • Are structured and able to work with deadlines.
  • Able to be flexible in case of changing priorities.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Have a team spirit and a positive attitude that motivates people around you.
  • Committed to our ethical values.

Full-time position on a permanent contract based in Castres – France

Remuneration to be negotiated according to the profile.
