Topic description

We are looking to fulfil a PhD Student position at our UniLaSalle site in Beauvais (France) as part of a European Project Breed-Epeautre-Omics at the earliest opportunity starting March 2026. UniLaSalle is a high-class academic and a research institution with more than 4000 students located near Paris, (France) at Beauvais campus (60). The research activity includes a turnover of 7’5 million euros devoted to R&D.

Breed-E-omics aims to study the genetics and improvement of spelt in a context of ecological transition and global warming as a source of alternative crop for producers in Hauts-de-France and Spain.  We propose an innovative and multidisciplinary solution to this challenge, integrating genetics, quantitative genetics, transcriptomic studies, genomic selection and high-throughput qualitative analysis. Bringing biotechnology to a sustainable future.
