This internship will be available from January or February 2026 for 5–6 months. It will take place at the Gustave Eiffel University campus in Champs-sur-Marne, and there is the possibility of conducting research at the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Jointly supervised doctoral thesis research may be proposed afterwards.
Description
This internship is part of a research project that aims to develop new low-carbon mineral binders incorporating products derived from the recovery of biomass waste, which is available in large quantities in France and Quebec.
Profile
The candidate is expected to have very strong skills in:
- Materials Science, or Civil Engineering Materials Chemistry with skills in materials science
- Physical chemistry of construction materials
- Sustainable construction.
The candidate must have a strong interest in experimental research (including metrology) and must demonstrate interpersonal skills that allow him/her to work in a team.
