The research group of Assoc. Prof. Daniel Crespy at the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) is seeking highly motivated and creative students with an interest in polymer and materials chemistry. We are focusing our research on self-healing polymers, nanoparticles for biomedical applications, and advanced coatings for anticorrosion.

Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) was founded in 2015 by PTT Public Company Limited, Thailand’s largest corporation and a Fortune Global 500 company, and located at the Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECi) in Wangchan Valley, Rayong, Thailand. VISTEC is an advanced research institute offering postgraduate-level degrees (Ph.D. and Master degrees) in Science and Engineering. In addition to degree giving programs, we also offer postdoctoral research training to provide a basis for early-stage researchers to develop their independent careers while working with experts in the fields. We offer two types of postdoctoral fellowships, one for pursuing challenges in making cutting-edge discoveries and another for undertaking projects in collaboration with the industry.

At VISTEC, the School of Molecular Science and Engineering (MSE) aims at being a catalyst fostering word-class innovation in the field of molecular science and materials engineering to help Thailand becoming a sustainable advanced economy. The missions of MSE are:

- Train learners with state of the art of molecular science and materials engineering to significantly contribute to the sustainable advancement of the Thai society, industry, and academia;
