How will you contribute?
Describe the main responsibilities of the position.
The internship will contribute to the development of a patented humic substance recovery technology, with a particular focus on optimising anaerobic digestion operating conditions and microbiome development to improve humic substance production.
The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary research team and will contribute to experimental design, laboratory work, data analysis, and process optimisation. The internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applied research at the interface of anaerobic digestion, microbial ecology, and bioprocess scale-up.

Education
- You must be part of an educational program in which the traineeship is compulsory as part of the educational course (if not please notice that your application is not eligible)
- Master’s student in environmental engineering, biotechnology, microbiology, chemical engineering, or a related field.
Experience and skills
- Strong analytical skills and motivation to work in an experimental research environment.
- Experience in laboratory work
- Knowledge of bioprocesses and membrane filtration is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Language skills
- Fluency in English or in French, both oral and written. Other relevant languages are an asset.
