How will you contribute?
You will support the coordination, communication and stakeholder engagement activities of European projects in epidemic preparedness, focusing on wastewater-based surveillance and mosquito-borne disease prevention and control. This role requires the ability to understand scientific and technical content and to translate it into clear, accurate and accessible communication, dissemination and capacity-building materials.
Working closely with the project team, consortium partners and external stakeholders, you will support both the ongoing development and implementation of project activities by facilitating communication flows, preparing scientifically accurate project outputs, contributing to knowledge transfer and capacity-building activities, and ensuring regular follow-up with partners.
You will be mainly in charge of:
- Supporting the day-to-day follow-up of the European project, including communication with consortium partners and external stakeholders.
- Drafting and sending emails to consortium members to collect updates, share news, follow up on deadlines and support the coordination of project activities.
- Contributing to the preparation of project newsletters by collecting scientific and project updates from partners and stakeholders, drafting clear and accurate content based on the information received, coordinating internal review and integrating feedback before publication.
- Supporting the organisation of project events, including webinars, workshops, meetings and larger stakeholder events.
- Supporting knowledge transfer and capacity-building activities by helping to prepare scientifically sound materials, coordinating partner inputs, and following up with participants and stakeholders.
- Supporting the dissemination of project results through website content, news items, reports and other communication materials.
- Helping to strengthen the projects’ social media presence by drafting posts, adapting project content for social media channels and identifying opportunities to increase visibility and engagement.
- Supporting the preparation of project deliverables, reports and communication outputs in collaboration with the scientific and coordination teams.

Education
- Master’s degree in public health, life sciences, microbiology, infectious disease epidemiology, science communication with a strong scientific background, European project management applied to public health or life sciences, or another relevant field.
Experience and skills
- Previous experience in project coordination, communication, stakeholder engagement or administrative support within a scientific, public health or European project environment.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to follow up on multiple tasks, deadlines and contributors.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear emails, meeting minutes, newsletters and short communication pieces.
- Experience in organising meetings, webinars, workshops or stakeholder events.
- Experience in using social media channels for professional communication, including drafting posts, adapting content for different audiences and contributing to the visibility of projects or organisations.
- Ability to understand technical and scientific input and transform it into clear, accurate and accessible communication, dissemination or capacity-building content.
- Good command of standard office tools and collaborative platforms.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or other content creation tools would be an asset.
- Knowledge of AI-based tools for communication or content creation would be an asset.
- Attention to detail, autonomy and a proactive approach to follow-up.
Language skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
- Knowledge of French or another European language would be an asset.
