Data et IA pour évaluer la vulnérabilité du réseau mobile face aux changements climatiques // Data and AI to assess the vulnerability of the mobile network to climate change

Cette thèse propose un sujet original à l'interface entre intelligence artificielle, résilience des réseaux et adaptation au changement climatique. Elle permettra au doctorant de travailler sur un problème scientifique à fort enjeu industriel, en s'appuyant sur des données réelles et sur des collaborations internes autour des besoins d'évaluation et de caractérisation de la vulnérabilité des infrastructures.

L'usage de l'IA générative pour produire des scénarios de crise plausibles constitue un apport innovant, en complément des approches classiques de machine learning. Les résultats attendus pourront alimenter les réflexions d'Orange sur l'adaptation de ses infrastructures aux risques climatiques et contribuer à renforcer sa résilience opérationnelle.

La thèse offre également un cadre de travail stimulant, en interaction avec des équipes de recherche et des entités internes intéressées par les sujets de risque, de résilience et de responsabilité sociétale et environnementale

This thesis proposes an original topic at the interface of artificial intelligence, network resilience, and climate change adaptation. It will allow the doctoral candidate to work on a scientific problem with significant industrial implications, drawing on real-world data and internal collaborations focused on the needs for assessing and characterizing infrastructure vulnerability.

The use of generative AI to generate plausible crisis scenarios represents an innovative contribution, complementing traditional machine learning approaches. The expected results will inform Orange's thinking on adapting its infrastructure to climate risks and contribute to strengthening its operational resilience.

The PhD program also offers a stimulating work environment, interacting with research teams and internal entities interested in risk, resilience, and corporate social and environmental responsibility.
