JUNIA is hiring an Assistant Professor and Researcher in sustainable cities (H/F)

Are you a PhD holder in Civil Engineering or Architecture looking to combine teaching, applied research, and pedagogical innovation ?

Join JUNIA, a leading French engineering school, and contribute to the education of future engineers in the International Smart & Resilient Cities (S&RC) programme, while developing research projects within the Lille Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Transitions (LITL) as part of the Smart & Resilient Cities research team.
The position is based on JUNIA's Lille (Vauban) campus, offering a stimulating academic and collaborative environment.

Profile

Candidate Profile :
You hold a PhD in Civil Engineering or Architecture (an HDR qualification obtained or in progress is highly desirable).
You are an academic with teaching and research experience in topics related to resilient cities and buildings, including, but not limited to : Sustainable urban planning; Circular cities and urban resilience; Building Information Modeling (BIM); City Information Modeling (CIM); Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to the built environment.

You are dynamic, possess strong teaching skills, enjoy collaborative work, and are committed to supervising students and researchers while promoting innovative pedagogical practices.
Fluency in English is essential (minimum CEFR C1 level).
