Topic description

The objective of this thesis is to develop numerical processing tools to restore the quality of wide-field astronomical images degraded by atmospheric turbulence and satellite light pollution. By leveraging high-cadence video acquisition, the project aims to implement deep learning models and physical frameworks to correct wavefront aberrations and optimize angular resolution. The work will be divided into three phases: the enhancement of a simulation tool, the development of spatio-temporal reconstruction models, and validation using observational data. This project is a continuation of the DanceCam project and will be conducted in collaboration with international partners.
