Australia-France Collaborative Research Program
Australia-France Collaborative Research Program is aimed to foster and reinforce social science collaboration between Australia and France through research activities on a topic of interest to both countries.The deadline for applications is November 1, 2024 (tbc).

The Australia-France Social Science Collaborative Research Program is administered by the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia and the Embassy of France in Australia.
Terms and conditions
- The call for applications is open to France and Australia affiliated researchers, and experts in public and private sectors;
- The participation of early and mid-career researchers is encouraged. PhD candidates are also eligible to apply;

The following are the themes that are funded by this program:
- Research activities on a topic of interest to both Australia and France with the capacity to support the development of strategic alliances between the two countries;
- Research activities relevant to Pacific Island Studies (including those in French overseas territories);
- Research activities relevant to the Indo-Pacific region;
Proposals with a multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary character are encouraged.
Mission and funding

Funding is granted for 2 years;
- Funding is granted for a maximum of $5,000 AUD and is aimed to foster the development of a larger research program;
- The funding covers the mobility of researchers between the two countries, especially to attend international workshops and/or to undertake research or field work.
