AMBASSADEUR Postdoctoral fundings 2023
The Directorate-General for international relations and strategy (DGRIS) launches its funding program 2023 for postdoctorates. Apply before April 21st.
The Ambassadeur program
The French Ministry of the Armed Forces awards 2 postdoctoral fellowships every year as part of its "Ambassador" program.
The aim of the program is to finance a 12-month stay abroad for a postdoctorate engaged in a research project on security and defence issues. The call is open to all fields of human and social sciences (geography, economics, political science, law, etc...).
The programme is scientifically monitored by the Institut de Recherche Stratégique de l'École Militaire (IRSEM).
This funding is part of the Higher Education Pact plan and aims to contribute to regenerating the pool of university research in the fields of defence and security.
