European BioAlpine Convention

The European BioAlpine Convention first edition, dedicated to “Neuroscience innovation: an academic industrial partnership”, will be held on October 6th, 2006 in Grenoble, France.European researchers, PhD students, postdocs, young companies, SMEs, big companies… are invited to attend this new event organized by the tri-national Transalpine BioCluster (Rhône-Alpes/France - Piemonte/Italy - Western Switzerland).
Besides scientific conferences, the program includes a poster session. Young academic (under 35) and private attendees (companies less than 3 years old) are invited to submit posters relating to their research findings in neuroscience research and technologies. Four prizes of a total worth of €6,000 will be awarded. Registration and submission of abstracts expected before August 31, 2006.
A brokerage event organized by the Franco-Swiss Innovation Relay Centre SOFRAA will also allow companies to meet academic or industrial partners and build strategic collaborations and to prepare FP7 next calls.
