Study grants in Cambodia

The National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations (Inalco) and the Center for Khmer Studies allow young researchers to go to Cambodia. Deadline for application: 15 December 2006.The purpose of this fellowship programme, which is supported by the Florence Gould Foundation, is to develop knowledge about the society, culture and history of Cambodia. It is targeted to young researchers from Master to postdoctoral level. Grants cover trip and research expenses for 2 to 6 months at Master level, 11 months for PhD students and 4 to 11 months for postdocs. It also includes some help for a smooth integration into the scientific community in Cambodia.
Applicants must have French nationality.
Deadline for application to 2007-2008 grants: 15 December 2006.
