Medicon Valley, a cluster that groups together no fewer than 140 biotech companies,70 pharmaceutical companies, 130 medtech companies,15 clinical research organizations,26 teaching hospitals and 12 universities. Founded in 1997, this binational non-profit organization is located in the cross-border region of Oeresund that stretches from Copenhagen to Lund.
