Carnot Institutes Association

The Carnot label -and the attached public subsidies- are given, through a call for tenders, to public research organizations which commit themselves to devoting an important part of their activity to joint research with the socio-economic world and which adhere to a charter defining professionalism and quality in is kind of activity.

The 33 labelled Carnot Institutes have joined an association, the AICarnot, which is in charge of running the whole network. Its web site includes of course links to all of its members and a skill searching tool. It constitutes an essential source of information for all those (students, PhDs, researchers, industry representatives…) interested in research partnerships between public labs and companies.
