For its 2026 edition, Forum LABO offers a rich programme combining scientific conferences, technical workshops, demonstrations and themed activities.

Opening conference

Under the theme:

“Reinventing the laboratory through AI, ecology, reindustrialisation and collective intelligence: new models, new practices”

This session will bring together economic, institutional and scientific stakeholders to discuss the major transformations shaping the sector.

Over two days, Forum LABO offers:

• Scientific and technical conferences;
• Sector-focused thematic workshops;
• Sessions dedicated to training and career development;

Key highlights of the 2026 edition

The photo contest “Science on Display”

On the occasion of Forum LABO Lyon 2026, a major photo contest is launched around the theme: “Your laboratory, your science, your perspective”.

Objective: to showcase the beauty and creativity of the scientific world.

The selected photographs will be printed in large format and exhibited in the Trémie, a strategic area of the exhibition crossed by all visitors.

A unique opportunity to:

• Highlight your expertise;
• Increase the visibility of your laboratory;
• Share the aesthetic dimension of science.

Submission deadline: 2 March 2026.

Innovation Awards

The Forum LABO Lyon 2026 Awards recognise projects, laboratories, teams or individuals embodying:

• Scientific or technical excellence;
• Major innovation;
• A significant impact on the sector or region.

These awards also highlight collaboration, diversity and engagement within the scientific ecosystem.
