Topic description

This research proposal describes a three-year program in synthetic organic methodology aimed at developing broad access to stereodefined azacycles bearing fluorine atoms, which are highly valuable scaffolds in medicinal chemistry.
Based on our experience in palladium-catalyzed cycloadditions, the candidate will investigate the reactivity of new fluorinated precurors with the aim to perform diasetereo and enantioselective transformations using chiral metal ligands.
