Topic description

Our project aims to identify physiologically relevant targets among the myriads of molecular targets identified by high-throughput molecular biology or computational predictions. For the experimental part of this project, we selected a miRNA controlling obvious phenotypes in genetically tractable model organisms, in order to assess rigorously the functionality of individual miRNA/target interactions. The methods that we will develop will be generalizable to every miRNA, therefore allowing a widespread exploration of miRNA/target functions.
