Topic description
A fully funded 3-year PhD position is available in the WILD team at the
Institut de Biologie Structurale (IBS) in Grenoble, France. The successful
candidate will contribute to a better understanding of the molecular
mechanisms underlying glycosaminoglycan biosynthesis. Our research
combines in vitro enzymatic assays with state-of-the-art biophysical
techniques, including nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and
single-particle cryo-electron microscopy, to investigate substrate specificity and protein–protein interactions of key biosynthetic enzymes.
