Themed workshop
Discovering the corporate world and the jobs open to PhD-holders
[0.5 day]
PhD-holders seeking to develop their careers outside of academic research tend to first explore opportunities offered by large industrial corporations. Yet many other types of organizations also constitute major sources of jobs for PhD-holders. Learning about the wide range of organizations available and the characteristics of the job market is a key step in defining one’s career plan and orienting one’s job search.
