Barrande Fellowship Program 2022
Discover the exchange mobility program "Barrande" for Ph.D. candidates between the Czech Republic and France. This program is coordinated by the French Institute in Prague and the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MSMT).
The application deadline is February 4, 2022.

The Barrande Fellowship Program offers scholarships for 2022 to support “cotutelles” (double-degree PhD) and short-term research stays. Students have to be registered either at a Czech University (for mobilities to France) or at a French University (for mobilities to the Czech Republic).
The scholarship-holder in "cotutelle" program undertakes a 5-month stay in France or in the Czech Republic every year for a maximum of 3 years. The program offers also grants to Ph.D. candidates for a short-term research stay (between 1 and 3 months).
All scientific fields are welcome. Applications in the fields of environmental sciences, energy, mathematics and information technology are particularly welcome.

EligibilitY
- Be a holder of a higher education diploma (Ing., Mgr. or MgA.) before their first stay abroad;
- Be registered at a Czech university, for a research stay in France, and at a French university, for a research stay in the Czech Republic.
- Note on language requirements: the program is open to all English speakers on the condition that the French or Czech supervisor from the foreign institution agrees with English as the language used during the stay.

The video recordings of the events will allow you to learn more about higher education and research in the Czech Republic and in France, the funding program, its objectives, how to apply, and will also allow you to listen to program's alumni talking about their experience and to have access to the Q&A sessions of both events.
