Slovak Government National Scholarship Program
Slovak Government National Scholarship Program is a scholarship for the support of mobility of students, PhD candidates, university teachers, researchers and artists at higher education institutions and research organisations. It supports two-way mobility - international scholarship holders to Slovakia, as well as Slovak scholarship holders abroad. The deadline for applications is October 31, 2023.

Slovak Government National Scholarship Program is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. The program is administered by SAIA, n. o. (Slovak Academic Information Agency).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For PhD candidates:

The scholarship is open to all international PhD candidates whose higher education or scientific training takes place outside Slovakia to conduct research/artistic stay in Slovakia;

Applications and the required attachments should be submitted in Slovak or English language only.

All scientific fields are concerned.
Mission and funding

Duration of a research stay: 1 – 10 months;

The funding only covers living costs during the stay and travel allowances.
